Privacy Statement for the CSIRO Momentary Experience application (the App)

Your personal information is protected by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and CSIRO will handle your information in accordance with this Act and the National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007, updated 2018).

Your personal information is being collected by CSIRO for the purposes facilitating your access and use of the app, and related scientific research. CSIRO may collect personal information from users of the app, including project participants.

The personal information collected may vary for different individuals and may include your email address.

CSIRO may also collect your sensitive information, including your health information, for the purposes outlined above.

The app is hosted by Appliquette on behalf of CSIRO on the Google Cloud Platform servers based in Australia. CSIRO may disclose your information to third parties including Appliquette or Google for the purposes outlined above.

Please do not provide information about any other individual via the Momentary Experience app without their permission.

Results from the project will be de-identified and/or aggregated by CSIRO and may be published/presented in publicly available scientific journals and/or presented during conference presentations.
